Image Recording System

This system was designed and built to record a set of hi-resolution color pictures of each completed unit. The system features 6 cameras with a zoned lighting system. The first camera reads the barcode which is then used as the storage name of the image set. The lighting is zoned and under program control. It illuminates one section at time in order to optimize lighting for each camera and avoid image washout. We have installed an adaptive camera gain control algorithm on certain cameras in order to deal with the wide range in material color.
